Black tax means different things to different people and there isn't a clear cut definition that exists out there - because everyone's financial and family situation is different.
If we go by the definition provided for by Urban Dictionary, black tax is the, "extra money that black professionals are expected to give every month to support their less fortunate family and extended families."
