More than 150 babies and toddlers aged between eight months and six years went for a week without water at a nursery school in Randburg.

For basic hygiene, the toilets must be flushed at least every 30 minutes and the little ones must wash their hands regularly, said Karlien Dique, head of Unika Pre-Primary School in Robindale, Randburg.
