Limpopo may turn to Zimbabwe and other countries in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to get water for the R247.8 billion energy and metallurgy complex, the Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone (SEZ), because the province lacks its own resources.
The only solution for now is the proposed construction of a dam along the Limpopo River in Musina at an estimated cost of R14 billion.
