Almost three years after the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, South African cities and towns are lighting up just like they used to before the virus hit and forced the world to hibernate. The beautiful lights and decorations tell all of us that we are having a normal holiday season this year.

Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town have some of the most festive cheer, with bells jingling all the way.
