The SA Police Service (SAPS) has opened an inquest docket after a woman, who was admitted for mental treatment, allegedly committed suicide at Kopanong Provincial Hospital.  

It is believed the patient hanged herself with a doek inside the hospital bathroom, also killing her unborn child.
