Thanks to the Electoral Amendment Bill, the IEC is changing its system to include independents, issue three ballots to voters instead of two – and focus on youth registration.

The passing of the Electoral Amendment Bill in April this year came as a welcome relief for the Electoral Commission of SA (IEC), allowing it to continue preparing for the 2024 national election.
