The University of Limpopo is investigating allegations of the ill-treatment and insulting of homosexual and transgender persons at its Turfloop campus. This follows a TikTok video by one of the students who has opened up about how homosexual people are treated daily.

According to the university’s spokesperson, Joe Selepe, the institution has opened a dedicated gender desk to address any sexual bias and harassment on campus following the incident.
