We have reached the end of the 2022/2023 DStv Premiership Cup and wrapped up the season with the PSL Awards on Sunday. Now, we look forward to the playoffs and how the national team is prepping to face Morocco.

For Jose Riveiro, to guide Orlando Pirates to a runner’s-up spot on the log and bag two trophies in his first season in charge is a remarkable achievement.

Tim Spirit might have judged the book by its cover, but the Pirates' coach has settled well in South African football. It’s perplexing why he didn’t win coach of the season. Instead, Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena was voted the Premiership coach of the season.

Monnapule Saleng walked away with the well-deserved Premiership players’ player of the season at the virtual PSL Awards on Sunday.

Safa went to Parliament to ask the sports committee for 18 teams to widen the selection for the Bafana coach. Why are they not scouting in the lower divisions? We also believe the move won’t change anything and will bring confusion.
