While reiterating his support for the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party, former president Jacob Zuma has held no punches back in accusing the ANC of not only failing South Africans, but also for its lack of response to voters' concerns.
This, according to Zuma, symbolised the ANC’s dismissal of the electorate’s wishes and signals "a troubling trend within the party".
Zuma, who was speaking at the Moses Mabhida centennial celebration at the Slangspruit cemetery in Pietermaritzburg at the weekend, expressed his dissatisfaction with the ANC's 'current situation', adding that the once thriving political party "has changed and is no longer what it was".
