Production of the new season of popular relationship show Mina Nawe House was halted on this week after a cast member was injured on set.
Filming of season two of the fan favourite relationship bootcamp-style show started on a sour note after one of the new cast members fell and injured her leg on set on Tuesday.
Sources close to the production have alleged that, while filming one of their party scenes, a cast member was too drunk and fell.

“One of the cast members got injured on set. They were drunk and suddenly one of the wives fell by mistake and injured her leg,” the source said.
Five couples who want help to save their troubled relationships are housed at a private location for three weeks, where an expert coach monitors their interactions with the aim to help them identify and sort out their differences and strengthen their union.
Another source said: “The accident happened on Tuesday. They called medics and did first aid on her.”
The source claimed that the cast member declined to exit the show after the injury.

“She then insisted on continuing with filming, even though she is on crutches. The show continued filming,” the source said.
Moja Love confirmed that the second season of Mina Nawe had started filming, but, “unfortunately, we cannot discuss or disclose the content of what is happening on set currently”.
“All will be revealed when the show airs in December,” said Bokani Moyo, head of Moja Channels.
The new season of the show is set to premiere in December and will be packaged as one of channel’s new shows for its festive viewing schedule.
Last season, the show was hosted by motivational speaker Siyabonga Mkhize and dating coach Dudu Nhlabathi Madonsela.
The show was not without controversy, and the season finale, which was hosted by media personality Somizi Mhlongo, ended with one of the five couples breaking up for good.
For season two, 10 couples have been cast and will be staying in the Mina Nawe House under the watchful eye of 24-hour cameras.
