Musician Mlindo The Vocalist has adjusted his tune after a video in which he appeared drunk during a performance in Soshanguve on Monday surfaced on the internet.

The talented amaBlesser hitmaker – real name Lindokuhle Mgedezi – apologised for “my actions” and assured his fans that would not happen again.

“I would like to sincerely apologise to my supporters and everyone for everything that took place this past weekend. I will not get into details but I take full responsibility of my actions and I will not blame it on anyone but myself. I will be better and act better next time,” the star said in a post on Twitter on Wednesday.

Mlindo, who was billed to perform at MacNose Cafe in Soshanguve for their Short Left Mogodu Mondays event, was carried off stage by unknown men after falling off during a performance.

The star looked visibly out of control, could not stand straight and had to be piggy-backed by an unknown man mid-performance.

He initially blamed a knee injury for his mishap but later changed his tune.

Event attendees posted the video on social media platforms reprimanding the star for “disrespecting them”.

@Obacanism said: This is Mlindo the vocalist. He was suppose to perform last night at Short Left Soshanguve but alcohol got the best of him. Mlindo please don’t do this.”

Another user @Moitherezi said: “Mlindo was out of it already, that parson gave him a glass of water, he was even shaking his head like he cant see straight.”
