After the drama surrounding Moeti “Mo Flava” Tsiki’s abrupt departure from Metro FM, many people thought the radio host's days in the radio spotlight were long over.
After an eight-year journey with the radio station, as the face and host of the breakfast show time slot, rumours surrounding his departure as a result of being fire were put to rest when the two respective parties released an official statement that detailed that both had decided to end Mo Flava’s contract with the station mutually.

The statement read:
“Metro FM, South Africa’s biggest commercial radio station, regrets to announce that it has reached a mutual agreement with ‘Wake up on Metro FM’ breakfast show presenter Mr Moeti “Mo Flava” Tsiki to part ways.”

In the aftermath of the news, the country waited in shock for what might come next for the talented presenter, while others questioned his decision to fumble such a great bag. None were more savage than podcast presenter MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho, who celebrated Mo Flava’s demise on his show Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he said he was glad that Mo Flava was allegedly fired, and that Mo Flava would never be able to find a better gig than Metro FM.
This bitter response from MacG came about as a retaliation to Mo Flava, who he [MacG] said had not been supportive of his podcasting career.

Mo Flava seemed to have proved all his haters wrong though, as it was just announced that the radio host would be joining Joburg's 94.7 FM team at the beginning of April.
Mo Flava will begin his new gig on Monday when he will host the afternoon weekday slot, which he shared his excitement about on the Anele and the Club's breakfast show earlier this week.

It’s always a good day when MacG is proven wrong, as fans of Mo Flava wasted no time in dragging him for making presumptuous statements about the former Metro FM host. Thankfully, Mo Flava's fans have also taken no time to flood the internet with congratulatory statements that are sure to make this good news even sweeter.

At 94.7 FM, Mo Flava will be among other veterans in the radio industry, including Robert Marawa, as well as Thando Thabethe and Msizi James, who has been dubbed the king of commercial by his peers.
