There’s an exciting vibe in the air. At the moment, the South African music, television and entertainment scenes are vibrant and alive. Jam-packed with colourful and diverse storytelling and local content from period pieces with fantasy and mythology elements, to a coming-of-age story about an it girl who moves to a small-town varsity campus after she’s cancelled on social media, our screens have been set alight by the phenomenal contributions to African culture by local television producers, directors, and talent. 

Some will be clad in colourful print, representing their tribes, while others may opt to wear green and gold to support our world-class rugby team representing us proudly in France right now. Whatever choice made, one thing remains a strong unifier for us all – storytelling.
