An ex-wife of a top television director has become the latest woman to accuse the man dubbed the “Sandton Tinder Swindler” of defrauding her after meeting him on the dating site – in her case, out of more than R250 000.
The corporate executive of a giant cellphone operator, who cannot be named for fear of victimisation, also revealed that Amon “Amonelo” Namara called her on Friday after his court appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court, asking her to visit him in jail.
