There is an adorable doting scene between Nandi (played by Nomzamo Mbatha) and Shaka (played by Lemogang Tsipa) in the last episode of the twelve-part first season of the wildly successful and multivalent drama series Shaka iLembe. 

Stopping briefly on the lush grasslands with magnificent flowering Aloe marlothii’s in the frame, and KwaNobamba palace in the background. Shaka turns to face his mother, bows his head and she affixes a tall feather of Indwe (Blue Crane) at the back of his head ring (umqhele).
