Here is a look at Big Nuz through its biggest hit songs:
Umlilo
Big Nuz's track Umililo, which was in the group's studio album titled Undisputed, was undisputedly one of the biggest songs the group worked on. Following its release in 2010, they went on to win three SA Music Awards (SAMA) for the album, with Umlilo walking away with the coveted MTN Record of the year gong.
Serious
The group released its fourth studio album Pound for Pound in August 2011. Serious became a club banger at the time and saw the album being nominated for and walking away with a SAMA for Best Kwaito Award from the SA Music Awards.
Inazo
In 2013, once again, the group owned the festive season with the release of its album Made In Africa. The song was nominated for best song of the year. The album featured in the album of the year and the trio earned a group of the year category nomination at the Metro FM music awards the following year.
Osisi bendawo
Osisi bendawo was featured on the group's 2015 offering For The Fans, which was released on the day that founding member R. Mashesha passed away at the age of 34, following surgical complications. The album, which was released in R Mashesha's honour, received the award for Best Kwaito album and Best Duo or Group of the year.
Ngeke
Following their reunion in 2018, Big Nuz released their latest studio album titled R Mashesha last month. Ngeke is one of the tracks on the album and it is in the running for the song of the year title at the Ukhozi FM's Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka competition. The song has a nostalgic feel for die-hard Big Nuz fans.
