While the world moves far beyond the boundaries of spiritual horrors, and towards the technological horror seen in movies such as the 2018 Cam, cult horrors such as Ari Aster’s Midsommar and the apocalyptic horror in the likes of Bird Box, which featured Academy award-winning actress Sandra Bullock, many spiritual horrors, which have been the foundation of the horror industry, are flying under the box office radar.
