OPPORTUNITIES IN the entertainment industry seem scarcer than in previous years, according to presenter and content creator Naledi Radebe, known as Leddi G.

Despite the challenges of securing gigs in the field, she remains determined to succeed.

The BET presenter from Cape Town told Daily Sun that it isn't easy at the current age.

"It is quite saturated, and it's not like how it was previously where it was one recognisable name that we all know from SABC," she said.

She said things are different now.

"Now it's a lot of people, and we are all trying to find a space. But I am also a firm believer that there are enough seats at the table. We just need to make space for each other and be generous," she said.

She will be a co-host of the new BET weekly show called "BET Streetz", where culture, vibes, and the hottest events collide.

Known for her charisma and passion for African fashion, travel and pop culture, Leddi is set to shine as she takes viewers on a journey through the vibrant streets of South Africa.

She said that she can't wait for people to watch the show.

"Hosting 'BET Streetz' is a dream come true for me. I'm excited to bring the energy of our streets to screens across Mzansi and the continent at large," she said.

She said anyone can watch the show.

"Anyone that likes going out is curious, and across the continent wants to see what Africa is about. It's anyone who's interested in what's going on in the street," she said.
