She's fun but exhausting to hang out with because she behaves like the mother of the group.
She's great to have deep, meaningful conversations with, but she also tends to speak the truth tactlessly, inevitably hurting someone's feelings.
In every circle of friends, there are people with different traits. Those traits, says astrologer Mulekah Kabongo, are exactly what make you drawn to certain types of people.
Understanding your friends' zodiac signs may help you enrich your life in all your relationships. “If you want to make good friends, for example, who would always be your ride or die, we can put Sagittarius and Leo," she says.
"They will always say ‘hey friend, I just found a deal! You know it is cheap, let’s go away for the weekend, let’s just try it out. It could be camping, it could be hiking etc.
“This is just that friend who always wants to be active, but this is also a friend who will defend you."
Leos have very strong personalities and are drawn to friends with similar traits, says Mulekah. “Leos are natural born leaders, like a typical example of a Leo would be Barack Obama.
"Having this friend will improve your life because they are good at showing you what your strong qualities are. Remember, they are leaders so a good leader is someone who sees a strong quality in their followers and uplifts them so that they become leaders."
Leos would be that friend who, for instance, sees your knack for taking good pictures and might therefore encourage you to sign up for a photography workshop, she says.

Mulekah's gift comes from her maternal side, she tells Drum, and she has applied principles of astrology in her own life. “I chose Libra for love because they are people who thrive in partnerships," says Mulekah.
"They like to be in those spaces, they like to create harmony around them. So if you are marrying a Libra, this is that person who will ask how to fix things instead of being prideful.
“In friendships, they are that friend who will not argue with you but rather sit and listen so that they can apologise and fix things with you. In a workplace they are that boss who ensures that everyone is safe and healthy, they like being saviours of the situation.
Work buddies can be as important as the friends we make outside of work, the stars that make the best office pals are Capricorns and Virgos for their straightforwardness and honesty, says Mulekah.
“Capricorn is that friend who will keep you down to earth. They will remind you, ‘Okay friend, I understand you have a new job and getting paid well, but that doesn’t mean your expenses must now increase. So be realistic, save your money, plan towards securing your future'.
“But this is also a friend who will motivate you to work hard so that you can achieve your goals in life. Let’s say you are the friend who is still studying in the group and your other friends have started working. Your Capricorn friend will find time in their schedule to encourage you, like, ‘Continue pushing, friend, you’ll get there. You’ll get your degree and start working'.”

A Virgo friend is the organised buddy, who inspired her friends although she tends to be a bit of a workaholic.
“So she is good at organising things in the group. Let’s say you're getting married but cannot afford a wedding planner. If you have a Virgo friend, they will plan your wedding for you as if they were a professional because they are good at organising things. They are also very neat and tidy people – this is the friend who will stay with you after a house party to help clean up.”
