Sea slugs, some of the most diverse and colourful creatures in the ocean, are just one of the thousands of types of animals in Cape Town's False Bay that will benefit from this week's visit by globally renowned Dr Sylvia Earle, the founder of global conservation organisation Mission Blue, who has also been recognised as a Living Legend by the US Library of Congress and was the first person titled 'Hero for the Planet' by Time Magazine.
Earle will spend Friday, 9 February with the Two Oceans Aquarium, Mission Blue's latest co-champion for its False Bay Hope Spot. A Hope Spot is scientifically identified as a critical to the health of the ocean.
