Already facing an uncertain future, one of the country’s oldest companies is now also embroiled in a potentially lethal boardroom battle.
On Friday, a CNA director confirmed to Fin24 that the board accepted CEO Benjamin Trisk’s resignation, apparently tendered last month. Trisk left the company last week, he said.
But this was denied by Trisk, who maintains that he’s still CEO – "something that has been made abundantly clear this week by my attorneys in correspondence with the other directors of CNA".
