Clicks is ready for intensifying competition in the lucrative baby segment, saying its large store footprint and its standalone baby stores should keep it one step ahead of its rivals.

The fight for market share in the baby category is only expected to grow with the likes of Shoprite, Dis-Chem, Mr Price and others expanding their reach into this market.
