Philip Morris International's (PMI) leadership in South Africa says the tobacco giant aims to get half of its revenue in the country from tobacco-free nicotine products by 2027, with the help of its smoke-free division, IQOS.
During a media event in Cape Town on Thursday evening, the tobacco company unpacked its ambitions to reduce its presence in conventional tobacco and pivot towards smoke alternatives such as vapes, heating blades, and e-cigarettes.
