Debt-laden Nampak said on Monday it had effectively finalised refinancing deals with most of its lenders, in what Africa's largest packaging group described as a "critical milestone" in its turnaround plan.
The latest announcement is expected to bring comfort to the JSE-listed group's shareholders, as some of them saw the risk of banks foreclosing on Nampak's loans as an existential threat to the business, analysts have said.
