Amid accusations of electioneering, the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has said its Citizen Connect television show is unbiased towards the government.
It also hit back at accusations that the show gave the governing party a leg up during election season.
Recently, the agency was heavily criticised for paying the SABC R7 million to produce the 13-part programme that highlighted government's initiatives. The show covers several topics, including gender-based violence, entrepreneurship, crime and agriculture.
