The tug of war among creditors of the South African Post Office (SAPO) is intensifying with more than one provisional liquidation order already granted against the financially stressed state-owned entity.
On 9 February, the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria granted a provisional liquidation order to Bay City Trading 457 for rent due by the SAPO. A return to court date was 1 June for parties to show why the SAPO should, or should not be placed in final liquidation.
