Environmental activists are calling on South Africans to boycott Shell service stations over peak travel season this December, as part of growing calls to stop the oil and gas company from conducting seismic surveys off the east coast.
Speaking to Fin24, environmental group The Green Connection's strategic lead Liz McDaid said that over the last couple of weeks, people have already been protesting at Shell service stations across the Western Cape and Eastern Cape.
"We want to build that and amplify that," she said.
