The Durban High Court has postponed applications to urgent interdict the vote for Tongaat Hulett's business rescue plans until Wednesday, with voting on the business rescue plan adjourned until the next day.
Both the South African Sugar Association (SASA), and RCL Foods, which brought the applications, confirmed the court's decision on Thursday.
"On that date, the high court will hear both the interdict brought by SASA and RCL Foods, and an application for leave to appeal the original high court ruling which has been brought by Tongaat Hulett," RCL Foods, the owner of Selati Sugar, said. The voting on the business rescue plan is now scheduled for 14 December, from 8 December.
