Only one in four South African employees rate their work environment as "good", while one in five are "very stressed". Women in particular, are less satisfied with their jobs.
"That is a very small number [of people rating their work environment as good]. A very small segment of the population," said Floatpays chief people officer, Andisa Liba.
Financial stress is the primary source of all this rising work tension, new research from Floatpays shows. The company's survey and interviews with focus groups show that many more people are struggling to make their money stretch to the next pay day.
