This year our economy really needs more confidence - specifically business and consumer confidence. Both have taken a knock in the last few years and it has had a profound impact on our GDP growth.
We cannot repeatedly expect the global investment community to deploy billions of dollars into a country where its own citizens are neither certain nor confident about the country's prospects.
