Sikonathi Mantshantsha wants a referendum to mandate Parliament to amend the Bill of Rights of the Constitution to implement the death penalty for the violent crimes of murder and rape; a candidate who has a plan to achieve economic growth of 5% and above a year; and one whose government will privatise all state-owned companies and assets that require taxpayer bailouts and are not able to fully perform their jobs.
With an election only a few months away, choosing who to vote for is proving to be a serious problem. Considering voting for any of the three largest political parties and their leaders is like being forced to choose between eating warm or cold shit, as author Charles Bukowski put it.
I want a candidate for reconstruction. For restoring the rule of law. For rebuilding state institutions. I want to restore professionalism, hope and our humanity as a nation. I want a candidate for progress and development. I want millions of real sustainable jobs to be created. I want to end poverty. I want to restore dignity and real opportunities for our young people.
