We've seen Thuso Mbedu steps out for a big glam night, likely to be spotted in a colourful ball gown silhouette.

And from us, it is an unwavering yes, always. 

From the first time she officially was inducted onto the U.S. red carpet scene, Thuso Mbedu has come in big and bold and from then on she has been consistent with this look.

At the opening party for the Los Angeles Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, she wore a custom Prada dress that was impossible to miss on the green carpet. The vibrant yellow ball gown made her look like a princess.

For the 2021 Creative Arts Emmys, she wore a Reema Acra blue gown with crystal trim embellishments. The ball gown was elegant yet made playful by the tulle Thuso also kept twirling in.

At the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, she won the Break Out Star Award for her role in Underground Railroad. Thuso wore an elegant red tulle gown by Nigerian design house, Atafo.

Who could ever forget when she wore a sea moss blue boob tube and a skirt with ruffle designs by South African designer Gert-Johan Coetzee at the Emmys in 2017? Quite unforgettable if you ask me.
