On Friday, Luxity, South Africa's biggest pre-owned luxury brand reseller, revealed it had sold one of their most expensive items to date - a Hermès Fjord Leather Birkin 35 in black.
The handbag, which the company called "the most expensive bag in South Africa", sold for a whopping R280 000 in just eight minutes.
