After spending a good majority of 2020 at home and uncertain of what learning might be like moving forward, and with the 2021 school year off to an even more unpredictable start, it's safe to say that being a child has never been more stressful. 

And if your go-to response to your child regarding the pandemic (and any stressful situation) has been "don’t worry we are fine", you may be causing more harm than good, says child counselling and play therapy expert Dr Serahni Symington.
