- Claudia Schiffer is the latest style savvy celebrity to have a Barbie doll modelled after her.
- In honour of the German supermodel's 50th birthday, the iconic toy line has crafted a new Barbie that looks exactly like Claudia.
- The Barbie doll can be styled in two different designer outfits, replicating Claudia’s favourite style moments – a black Balmain ensemble and a blue Versace gown.
She wore the Versace gown on the catwalk for the luxury label’s Autumn/Winter 1994 show in Paris.

In a statement, Donatella Versace noted that “from the moment the supermodel first stepped onto her runway, with her blonde hair and angelic face, the whole world immediately saw her as the personification of Barbie.”
The second look is a bit more recent – a long sleeve macrame top, belt, and cut-out skirt ensemble from Balmain that Claudia sported in the ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2016 for creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
Sadly, both the doll and the outfits are one of a kind and won’t be available for sale to the public. But Claudia says they will have a place of pride in the Barbie collection of her own daughters.
