As many as 15% of pregnancies are lost in the first three months, according to Mediclinic Infohub.

This means that miscarriage is a fairly common thing, yet it seems we still don't talk about it - perhaps because we feel it's a shameful thing to "lose" a child.  

These four women opened up about their miscarriages, sharing what it was like to mourn their children, and the reaction from those around them.
