According to the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), children need to be protected from exploitation.
With this in mind, the School of Law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, in collaboration with Terre des Hommes, Netherlands, invites you to a virtual webinar on Friday, 20 May 2022, from 09h00 - 11h00 (SAT).
The theme of this event is (Re)introducing sexual exploitation of children (SEC) as one of the worst forms of child labour.

The facilitator of this event is Louise Mariano, a Child Rights Activist and recent LLB graduate from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
Panellists such as Rowna Bernard, a lecturer in the school of Law from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and Magdalene Wanza, a Kenya Country Manager for Terre des Hommes, Netherlands are expected to contribute on this topic using different angles.
The webinar will also include the voices of youth advocates from Kenya, the Philippines and India.
