On a per industry basis, the differences in pay gaps between industries are stark, ranging from a 7% in financials to a hefty 34% in the real estate industry. The female representation at senior management and executive levels in South Africa is still, on average, only at 20%.

Put simply, if you and the guy you meet on Tinder were doing the exact same job with the same qualifications and level of experience, there's a good chance he'd be getting paid far more for no other reason than that he's a man.
