Miuccia Prada is the granddaughter of the luxury fashion brand's founder, Mario Prada. She took over the family's fashion house as head designer in 1978.
Since then, the Italian designer has also founded subsidiary fashion brand Miu Miu, and now has an estimated net worth of $5.52 billion.
