The Kardashians are known for all things grand and spectacular. And expectedly, Kourtney Kardashian's wedding, held in Portofino, Italy, was nothing short of that.
She walked down the aisle in a custom-made Dolce & Gabanna white silk satin lace gown and a dramatic hand-embroidered tulle veil.
Tulle gloves and white lace pumps completed the bride's look.
The veil was nothing short of a marvel. It was not only the long trail we loved, but the meaning behind its creation too.

Taking to Instagram, the Italian luxury brand shared that they were inspired by iconic figures of the Italian lingerie and la dolce vita.
"The corset enhances the silhouette thanks to a design rich in exquisite cuts and realized following expert tailoring techniques that emphasize femininity," the post read.
"Kourtney wears a wide, long tulle veil with floral lace appliqués inspired by the flowers of the Portofino gardens. The veil has been hand-embroidered with a large depiction of the Virgin Mary and the words "family loyalty respect," the post reads.
She changed into another D&G creation.

Her husband, Travis Barker, who was also wearing Dolce & Gabanna, was thoughtfully laced into the design of the veil.
"The embroidery, done with the 'cross stitch' technique, recalls her husband Travis' tattoo and is a symbol of alliance, respect and common devotion," the luxury brand shares.
Dolce & Gabbana also mentioned that Travis wore a double-breasted jacket with peaked lapels and classic trousers with pressed crease and side-band.
The groom's look was completed with a white shirt, a black silk satin bow-tie, a golden cross brooch with black crystals and creepers-style shoes.
