Lizzo's brand Yitty to reinvent shapewear: 'It is a love letter to the big girls'

Lizzo has announced her shapewear brand Yitty is set to reinvent shapewear. She says it is a dream that has taken five years. 

The Cuz I love You Singer says this is a love letter to her big girls and a welcome letter to everybody else.

"This is *not* an invitation to change who you are… this is an opportunity to be who you are on your terms," she wrote on Instagram.


Lizzo has always been an advocate for body positivity, and she openly demystifies the idea of what sexy looks like and what 'big girls' can and cannot do or wear.

"I don't know about y'all— but I'm sick of people telling me how I'm supposed to look and feel about my body. I'm tired of discomfort being synonymous with sexy. If it's uncomfortable TAKE IT OFF. And if it makes you feel good PUT IT ON," she continued.

The Grammy award-winner says this about her shapewear: "It's your chance to reclaim your body and redefine your beauty standard."
