Paris Hilton is aiming to take her campaign to end residential care facility abuse across the US.
Last month, the socialite appeared in court to support a bill that focuses on ending abuse in Utah care facilities following her own teenage experiences at the Provo Canyon boarding school.
According to US Today, Paris Hilton was sent to Provo Canyon School for 11 months at age 17. She says she was abused mentally and physically, recalling that staff members would beat her, force her to take unknown pills, watch her shower and send her to solitary confinement without clothes as punishment.
She is determined to push the campaign as far as she can.

"I just passed a bill in Utah, and next I am taking this to a federal level, so what happened to myself and so many others can no longer happen to children in all fifty states,” Paris told Grazia magazine.
"My documentary has shown a different side of me, and I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life," she said. Paris opened up about her ordeal on her 'This Is Paris' YouTube documentary, and she's been "overwhelmed" by the response she's received.

“The response has been overwhelming. I’m so glad that director, Alexandra Dean pushed me to open up,” she said.
“I’m able to show that you can go through hardship and come out the other side."
