  • If you're into fashion, by now you must have heard the term "Barbiecore".
  • It's all over the internet, and with the colour Barbie pink at its centre, it's near impossible to avoid.
  • To nail the trend remember: Pink is your friend, think fun and flirty and take it back in time.

If you're still lost, Barbiecore is inspired by the famous Mattel doll, Barbie. According to British Vogue, ever since stills of the upcoming Barbie film starring Margot Robbie was released, the sweet, bubbly fashion aesthetic took off.

Basically, everyone is dressing like 2000s Paris Hilton, but with a modern twist.

While I, myself, have a limited amount of pink in my wardrobe, I have become completely captivated by this trend. And so has the rest of Hollywood.

From Kim Kardashian to Megan Fox and Lizzo, see how some of Hollywood's A-listers have embraced #Barbiecore.

How to nail the Barbiecore trend:

Remember, pink is your friend

There's no such thing as too much pink. From pale pink to in-your-face neon, go all out.

Think fun and flirty

You don't always have to rely on pink to channel your inner Barbie. Play with other fun colours, flirty florals, sexy sequins, cute matching sets, baby crop tees, frills and tons of tulle. It's all about making an impact.

Take it back in time

Go for 60s hairdos, or how about 80s-inspired aerobics gear? Remember, Barbie has spanned generations, so don't be afraid to draw inspiration from different decades.
