'Do research'
When the year starts, it is helpful to research the different degrees available for you to study in each institution. This information can be accessed on the university's website.
Find the student prospectus of these institutions, look at the course you want to do and how much it costs to do that course.
'Keep an eye on bursaries'
Between January and April 2022 – keep an eye on different bursaries that may offer funding support on the area you wish to study.

'Track your application'
If you have not yet applied for the University by August, you must hurry up because between August to November 2022, university applications for 2023 usually close. Remember, it is always advisable to get your application as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
By the end of October 2022, the CAO Applications are closing and missing the deadline results in additional fees being required before processing the application, so make sure you do not miss the deadline.
Between September and January 2023, be on the lookout for emails or messages from the universities you have applied for. If you applied via CAO application systems, you could read more about checking your status here.
