Riri launched an inclusive range of 50 shades of her Fenty foundation, a Fenty skin range for both women and men, a Savage x Fenty line with inclusive sizes for women and men, introducing the first little person ambassador for Savage x Fenty.
Now, Rihanna introduced the first model with limb differences for Savage x Fenty, once again raising the inclusivity bar for competing brands.

Savage x Fenty launched in 2018, and since then, the brand has made it its mission to celebrate diversity and everyone’s uniqueness. On a Twitter post that has gone viral posted by user Kim Kelly, she praised the singer for working with models with limb differences. “Obviously, representation only goes so far, but when your disability is on the rare side, and you’re used to never seeing anyone else who looks like you, stuff like this feels really nice. Thanks for hiring models with limb differences, @rihanna,” Kim wrote.

The model captured in the viral post with over 20,000 likes wearing Savage x Fenty is Lyric Mariah, whom Kim also praised for putting herself in a position where those she represents may feel seen. “Thank you for your work here @phenixsoul, you look powerful and beautiful, and it means a lot.” Other platform users flooded the comment section singing their praises to the inclusivity icon, saying, “Love this. My kid has a limb difference, and his eyes absolutely light up when he sees someone with a limb difference.”

Others praised the singer and her brand for the level of inclusivity while also suggesting one more group that is currently not celebrated. “The diversity of the Savage models in body types, skin color and gender presentation is such a wonder to behold. I wonder, would it be ok if there were also models aged 60+ too?”
