Cameron Clapp was hit by a train in September 2001 when he was just fifteen, losing both of his legs above the knee and his right arm at the shoulder.
"There I was across the street, and that's the last thing I remember," said Cameron, of San Luis Obispo, California, in the US.
At the time, the then teen was told he would never walk again, but Cameron refused to accept this and, just five months later, could walk independently on prosthetic legs.

"I've always been a fighter, a very outgoing, a very outgoing, athletic, determined individual, and this was a new challenge for me".
Since then, Cameron has regained his athletic life, from snowboarding and surfing to running half marathons with his prosthetic limbs.
He also completed a B.A. in sociology summa cum laude from the California Polytechnic State University.
