World Against Toys Causing Harm, Inc. (W.A.T.C.H.) revealed its nominees for the "10 Worst Toys of 2021".

These toys made it to the list due to the potential safety hazards, such as choking hazards brought on by toys with small parts.

W.A.T.C.H.'s 10 Worst Toys of 2021: 

1. Squeakee Minis Poppy the Bunny: This adorable battery-powered 'balloon animal' can potentially cause battery ingestion injuries.

2. Radio Flyer Spin 'N Saucer: Though this 'sit and spin' ride-on toy is advertised as stable and comfortable, there is still the risk of possible impact injuries.

3. Bright Starts Tummy Time Prop & Play: This playmat is offered as a cosy space for tummy time and bear hugs, it has the potential for suffocation.

4. Perfectly Cute My Lil' Baby Feed & Go Set: This set has many extra parts which are ingestion and choking hazards due to their many small parts.

5. Nerf Hyper Rush-40 Pump-Action Blaster: This toy gun has the potential for eye and facial injuries, especially if used without the included protective eyewear.

6. Hape Baby Drum: This battery-powered colourful rolling musical instrument, though great for rhythm and sound learning has potential for ingestion and choking injuries.

7. Madd Rollers Light-Up Heel Skates: Much like Heelys, these add-on skates have the potential for blunt impact injuries.

8. Snake Eyes G.I. Joe Origins Ninja Strike Sickles: These Ninjitsu weapons have the potential for blunt force and eye injuries.

9. Hover-1 My First Hoverboard: Like many moving electronic toys, there is a potential for head and other impact injuries.

10. My Life As Shopping Basket: The many parts  that come with this basket makes it a potential choking hazard.
