The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have surprised the world with baby news, announcing another baby is one the way on Valentine's Day.

Their happy news included this adorable image of the couple.

The Sussex's new baby will be eighth in line to the throne, behind older brother Archie.

The first seven places will remain unchanged: Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, the Duke of Sussex and Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Harry retained his place in the line of succession despite quitting royal life and dropping His Royal Highness (HRH).

The new baby will not be entitled to be an HRH nor be a prince or princess, but will be allowed to be a Lord or Lady. However, in keeping with Harry and Meghan's wishes, he or she will be a plain Master or Miss Mountbatten-Windsor instead.
