Johannesburg-based photographer and Market Photo Workshop Alumnus Pamela Tulizo has been awarded the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talent. In partnership with Luma Arles and the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles (ENSP), Tulizo has won a creative commission and a € 10 000 grant from the House of Dior.

The Congolese documentary photographer and visual artist's winning series, Double Identity: Women of Kivu, explores the depth, richness, conflicts and contradictions of being an African women.
