It's the end of the road for Faith Nketsi and her husband, Nzuzo Njilo.

The pair tied the knot in April 2022 in a private traditional ceremony that aired exclusively on her MTV Base reality TV show Have Faith.

The media personality announced on her social media on Thursday that they were in the final stages of their divorce.

''It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Nzuzo Njilo and I are in the final stages of our divorce proceedings. No one gets married with the intention to get divorced. However through careful consideration and mediation, we have decided to go our separate ways. Nzuzo Njilo continues to be an amazing father to our beautiful daughter, whom we are co-parenting,'' read the brief statement.

The media personality and club hostess asked for privacy while they dealt with this matter.

It's unclear what led to the breakdown in their marriage. However, viewers of her reality show witnessed her move from her marital home back in with her mother in episode 1, and she consulted her lawyer about divorce and custody of their daughter Sky.

The pair welcomed Sky in August 2022 after months of trying to keep news of her pregnancy under wraps for her reality show.

In October 2022, after the final episode of the show aired, she thanked those who respected her wish to keep her pregnancy private.

"Just like that! That is it from me with my pregnancy journey, and I'd like to thank you guys so much, not only for respecting my decision to keep it private but also for accepting and loving baby Sky and me," she wrote on Instagram.

Since marrying Njilo, Nketsi has consistently been named in headlines about her husband's shady business dealings. The TV star recently declined to comment on yet another business deal gone wrong, this time involving her.

Sunday World reported that Njilo allegedly defrauded her shortly after they tied the knot in April last year. Per the publication, Nketsi's associate said Njilo defrauded her of the proceeds of the sale of her vehicle.

Taking to her preferred platform, social media, Nketsi said she would never approach the news media to answer questions.

"I would never do an interview about my personal life, nor would I ever go to newspapers to justify or 'tell my side of the story,'" she said.

"I'm also not with the catty fights on social media. There's more to life [and] I respect people."

Njilo and an accomplice were accused of defrauding a woman of half a million rand in a botched sale. Last year, he was arrested for allegedly failing to deliver goods valued at nearly R1 million to business owners.

Months earlier, he allegedly pled poverty when debt collectors knocked on his door to attach furniture to pay off a debt of close to R1 million.
